Service Description
In Aerial Yoga we use a silky aerial hammock to explore yoga postures in a new way. You will find yourself floating in fabric for savasana, hanging upside down, finding challenging new dimensions to standing postures and even doing flips! This is a fun, playful practice that also allows for deep meditation - the feeling of being cocooned in the fabric can be very soothing and relaxing for the mind. The classes welcome all levels, whether you are an experienced yogi or completely new to yoga - there are options for everyone, depending on your goals and level of comfort in the fabric. If you are looking to develop your flexibility, aerial yoga workouts are one of the best ways to do this. One of the main reasons for this is that, unlike traditional yoga, you have the added support of the yoga hammock or aerial yoga swing which allows you to get into poses that you may not be able to whilst on the mat. This means that the muscles and tendons can be more deeply stretched which is key when attempting to become more flexible. Additionally, one of the main reasons that so many people are attracted to aerial yoga is that you are far more easily able to do inversions. Not only do these types of poses have a vast array of health benefits but they are also excellent at promoting better flexibility.

Cancellation Policy
If you book into class and are unable to attend, please early-cancel at least 4h before your class is due to start. You can do so via your FitbyWix dashboard. Late cancellation and/or no shows will incur a class forfeit. Cancellations must be made by the Online app. Calls, emails or messages via social media will not constitute a valid cancellation.
